If your daughter or son is getting married, you are the best man or maid of honour or the groom – you will more than likely be asked to give a speech at the wedding. That’s a big deal! Speeches are a talking point and a major part of the entertainment – a good speech will always be remembered and sadly bad ones stand out.
A great speech at a wedding sets the tone, makes everyone smile and is the best gift you can give the couple. This is the easiest gig you’ll ever get – everyone wants you to do your best because they want to be happy and smile too. With a bit of help, you can make everyone’s night.

And for the shy orator or someone who just needs a boost, we offer coaching. If you’re not sure about the microphone, your pace, your volume, or how to say that sentence or joke, we offer coached read-throughs of your speeches to make sure you are ready and confident on the night.

Who am I?
I’m Lynda, I started Silvertongue Speeches to help create original, heartfelt and engaging speeches for weddings. I helped so many friends with their wedding speeches and loved seeing them nail their speech with confidence and flair I just knew I found my passion. I love public speaking, I love spending hours coming up with that one line and saying ‘aha!’ – the excitement of getting it right, but that’s not the same for everyone.
I know for so many people public speaking is their greatest fear. So many hate the idea of giving a speech or find the whole idea so stressful it ruins the day, and I have had to sit through so many painful speeches I knew – I want to help make this better.
I start every speech from scratch. There is no template, only the information and stories you give me. I filter and tweak, bring the funny if required, but I always make sure it’s your voice that is heard.
I love helping clients share their stories and I love the feeling when even I get emotional at the sentiments shared. I love giving confidence so you know when you get in front of the microphone, you’re about to give a great speech.
